im deciding what mozart songs to put on my ipod's salzburg playlist (salzburg is mozart's hometown, mozart tourist trap) and i am passing up on some classics..not because theyre bad, but because i cant take them seriously. kids tv shows, video games, etc all used classical music in them when we were kids. we got great exposure to clasical music but the sucky thing is that to this day, i always associate certain songs with these tv shows, commercials, etc no matter how hard i try

and then there are the countless shows on nickelodeon that incorporated classical music into their soundtracks like pete and pete, salute your shorts, etc etc
