we officially got our first pieces of furniture together! wooo. and its some pretty badass shit. a wall unit that takes up a whole fuckin wall, and a cool standing cupboard for the kitchen with some awesome 70s rockstar collectible stickers all over it (although against my will they will be removed. but hey, if it means i get a dragon toilet paper holder thats ok). i think we will get into the new place on march 5th..and the next month will be crazy...just organizing all the moving shit, buying a lot ofc shit (which i HATE doing) and yea..stuff like that. we both cant wait to just be in the new place and partying. at least my stupid flu is ending, thanks to krankenschwester basti. i love my boo

my uncle comes into town today and will stay the whole weekend! im picking him up from the train station this afternoon. i havent seen him in a few years, but he got a 6 month work assignment in stuttgart back in november..and its only about 5 or 6 hours or something like that from here. so its really cool hes able to come up and hang

the future

i got the flu last wednesday, and ive been in bed the entire day today, hoping that it will help me finally get over it. i cant wait till all the stupid annoying little shit is over and everythings normal again! basti has been the best nurse ever, through everything. i am so lucky. although now i think we are at the stage where he wants me to get better so HE doesnt have to deal with it anymore mwhahaha. my period mood swings arent much help either. 2 nights ago i started crying after i got a noodle stuck in my throat from the pasta we were eating. sweet jesus.

we got an apartment and will start painting/wallpapering/carpeting/etc on march 1st, and be moving in some time after that. im excited to move into a new and bigger space...after spending almost 3 years in berlin in places that i liked but never put any effort into, this will be a big change. it will feel like im really settling into the city, instead of living with the few shitty things i own (a couch-bed from hell, some clothes, and thats about it).

when i talked with my friend and told her i wanted to back out of the flatshare search so i could move in with basti, we talked about how so much had changed since last year. and its true, so much has changed and for the better..its crazy how it can happen out of nowhere. after signing the papers for our new flat and heading to work, i got a text that said, "today you signed for our future...and it will be awesome. i love you!"

i cant wait to have fights over how many of these i can put in the bedroom
