summa summa summa time

heat wave, 100 degrees every day. and theres no air conditioning in this country. in apartments, schools or businesses. im taking a real german class for 3 hours every day. ja ja. lots of kids from so many differnt countries at this school. its fun and exciting. new nerdy scandanavian friend. we are bike buddies to class every day and currently planning lots of funny projects. night time bike rides are great now. summer air, less hot, beautiful sunsets on bridges along the spree. world cup is over finally. that was the most annoying ass shit ever. i started bouldering with my roommate to get in shape for climbing mount blanc in a few years. you think i jest? nay sir. but yes i need a few years to condition my wussy body for this. and to save 1000euros for the trip. but more important is africa. that must happen in the next 2 years.

new mac, new nikon, plane ticket/money for a month back in the states in december/ 2.5 years worth of german taxes to pay= no money in 2010. sweet!!!!! real update and pictures once i get a new computer. heres some that some friends sent me from back in may in the alps

me, on a mountain, on a boat

me, in a field, on a boat

oh btw one of the loves of my life will be here in 2.5 weeks and together we will shred the gnar all over berlin

other places have mountains...but the alps are just different. when i am there, all i see is dragons, magic, castles, and heidi. i will never get that feeling anywhere else. i will never be able to listen to lord of the rings on my ipod while on mountains in the states. i suspect the scottish highlands will be almost as high on the scale of epic mountain metalness..and i cant wait to visit there. but the alps win forever and always.
