ok here is the cool surprise. after 16 years, i finally got to see the video of me on legends of the hidden temple...i had been trying to find it for years, and even had isaac try to find it since he works at mtv..and a few months ago i randomly decided to search for it again, and i actually found it!! someone uploaded it on vimeo. now i downloaded it and its officially in my possession again. my family taped it on tv when it came on in 1994 but we used a tape that was labeled "beavis and buthead" from when i used to record that off of mtv. then my brother went through tapes one day, looking for one he could use to record some shit on..and found the legends tape, thinking he was only recording over beavis and butthead episodes. so thanks to him i never actually saw myself on the show! over the years a few people would randomly message me saying they were watching nickelodeon gas and saw me or a girl that looked like me on legends. but i never saw it myself. anyways, here it is!! the best is how the host says im "into ice hockey" even though we were living in florida and i have never played ice hockey in my life. its just cause the mighty ducks movie had just come out and i am a huge poser

berlin trains are getting closer to reaching the awesomeness of nyc trains :)

show is over, it was good, could have been better if the two bands i wanted to see were the main act and not supporting acts with too short of sets. the crowd for strike was not that good, i think most people who were there didnt know them? but then for the souls it was better, even though i didnt have old friends with me, i had new friends who had their arms around me as we sang and had fun together. that is always the one thing that makes me NOT feel like im the oldest one at a show. if the crowd is good...once we all get in there together and start going nuts, we are all the same, and for 40 minutes, or however long, we have a party with our favorite music. i really hope the souls tour again and this time headline. i would hate to think that was the last time i will ever see them ..until a fucking reunion show or something. i will never get tired of waking up the next day to a sore neck and bruises from being shoved up against the stage.

and i also watched an old man spend over 20 minutes trying to take a picture of a flower with his point and shoot camera. i could just feel the ache in his old bones as he stood in that same position for so long..because i know when i try to take a picture for that long, my back and arm and neck start to hurt. so his must have been really bad. he must have really loved that flower




i love not working fridays...maybe i should try to make this a more permanent thing and not take new classes on fridays. i have a bunch of pics i need to upload soon, and also, another surprise i will probably unveil tomorrow

blind guardian just added this other band from nuclear blast to their fall tour lineup, called "van canto." they are also from germany, and one of them i guess is from berlin. but its an a capella metal band..............EXCEPT they use a real drummer. heres one of their videos, its shot in berlin. and you can see how the one guy sings the guitar solo with some effects on his voice to make it sound more realistic



pretty sure i could sing way better guitar solos...anyways, this will be interesting to see at the show hehehe

speaking of shows...strike anywhere/bouncing souls in 4 days! thank charlton heston that eyjafjallajökull didnt fuck up their plane ride over to europe! eeeeee

and here is a clip i filmed at the screening of the movie, where they were filming the documentary and shit. if you havent had the fortune of seeing the movie, the scene you see here is after kevin freezes time and has exactly 10 seconds to devise a plan to keep his family from eating the green goblin food. however as you can see, the time goes way past 10 seconds. and then the plan he comes up with is nice. and then the last part is the famous scene by the father

the night before i moved here i asked my sister (who was 4 at the time) to draw something that makes her think of me and her together. so she drew this picture of us at the beach by my moms house. which ones me ? i have no clue. im trying to get my 3 other siblings to do the same but those dickweeds are taking forever. i love this picture and i also love that fucking kid that cries about justin bieber. kids are so innocent and full of pure emotion (until they are on a deserted island together and turn lord of the flies)

this is one of riley's favorite songs right now, from that girl from the icarly show. me and adam played it on guitars and she sang it when i was home during winter. i love this song and its on my ipod. why is that girl wearing the exact same clothes i had when i was 8? i hope for my sisters sake disney marketing idiots dont turn this one into another miley cyrus, half naked with too much makeup on :O
