pizza? i want some

i was just exposed to a new cultural phenomenon known as the eurovision contest. yep.. i see europe in a new light now. anyways sweden was my pick for the winner but she didnt even come close :( we struggled to figure out whether she was a man or women but i just googled it and yes, she is female. and she shreds



i also got my first fine for riding the train without a ticket! :)


and i continue to indulge in this heavenly creation "pizza hawaii" at yo-yo, the vegan place near my house. aka my favorite place to eat. it is the best best best vegan pizza ive ever had. today i had a whole pizza and then a chocolate and strawberry ice cream cone. i wish i was rich so i could do that every day

may day/ baltic sea

may day in berlin gets kind of rowdy i guess so my friend ben suggested renting a car and driving out to the baltic sea for the day instead. although i kind of wanted to be in town to see the riots, i couldnt pass up a road trip. and the day was really awesome, it was so beautiful out and ben surprised me by taking us to a castle too. best day ever!!! im so glad we went...but after seeing pictures of the destruction and hearing stories about what happened while we were gone, i think i would like to stay in town next year

here is a picture my roommate took from our hood. banks were boarded up, roads closed off, explosions and fireworks that started even before we left for the baltic.
